closed when the plug 77 is inserted into a plug opening L, Li, L2 or La of the plug switch 35, the clockwork closes the corresponding contact and at the same time the plug 22 and its weight 37 are not lifted, the contacts 38, 39 are closed.
The secondary coil 42 of the primary coil 19 connected to the circuit of the microphones 1 is connected to the primary coil 43, and one pole of the secondary coil 44 belonging to this is connected to the grid of the amplifier lamp 45, the other pole to the sliding contact 46. Contact 46 lies opposite the heating control resistor 48 placed on the hot cathode of lamp 45 and can be pushed back and forth on this. The hot cathode of the lamp 45 is on the other hand connected to the battery 45. From the latter, a line 49 leads to the contacts 50 and from these leads a line 51 back to the hot cathode of the lamp.
The line 52 connects one pole of the receiver 53 to the anode, while the other pole of the same is connected by means of the line 54 to the anode battery A and via this and the line 55 to the hot cathode. The handset 5. 3 hangs on the hook

seeks.
Contacts 60, 61 are arranged above the arm 57. Contact 61 is connected to battery 20 by means of line 62, while contact 60 is connected to the other pole of the same battery by means of line 63, in which one light bulb 64 is switched on, in front of which, to be more conspicuous. a colored glass representing a human eye is expediently arranged.
In a room separated from the central observation point, in which the person controlling the observer is staying, a receiver 65 is also arranged, which hangs on the hook switch 67, 68 with axis of rotation 66 and one pole of which is connected to the line 54 by means of the line 69 is.
Contacts 71 are arranged under the arm 68, which a spring 70 tends to pull downwards, and the other pole of the receiver 65 is connected to one of them, while the opposite contact is connected to the line 52 by means of the line 72 above the arm 68 Two contacts 73 are also arranged, one of which is connected to one pole of battery 20 by means of line 74, and the other to line 63 by means of line 75. A lamp 76 similar to lamp 64 is switched on in line 75 ,
The device works as follows: When people are in the monitored location and approach the safe there, the weight 3 swings out, touches one of the contact tips 4 and closes the circuit of the battery 17 of the relay 6, as a result of which it attracts the armature 9.
As a result, the flap 12 falls into a horizontal position; the arm 13 touches the contact 14 and closes the circuit of the battery 15, so that the alarm bell 16 sounds in the central observation station.
Now the observer lifts the connector 22 and puts it into the connector indicated by the flap.

the circuit of the battery 26 via the corresponding electromagnet 28, via one of the lines 29 and the line 25, so that the armature of the electromagnet 28 by means of the arm 32 hits a mark on the paper tape of the roller 31 rotated by the clockwork 30.
When the plug is inserted further, the contact ring 23 touches the plug sleeve 7 and the circuit of the microphone 1 is closed via the plug, the line 21, the battery 20, the primary coil 49 and the common line 18. Now the observer picks up the receiver 53, the hook switch 57, 58 rotating about its axis 56 and pressing the contacts 60, 61 and 50 together. The contacts 50 close the heating circuit on the one hand via the line 49 and on the other hand via the line 51 the sliding contact 46, the resistor 48, the hot cathode and the line 55. As a result, the voice circuit of the handset 53 is operationally ready on the one hand via the line 52, on the other hand via the line 54. the anode battery A and the hot cathode.
The noises picked up by the microphone can now be heard amplified by the transformers 19, 42 or 43, 44 and the amplifier lamp 45 in the listener.
When the receiver 53 is lifted, the contacts 60, 61 are also closed, as a result of which the circuit of the battery 20 is closed via the lines 62, 63 and the lamp 64 lights up. At the same time, the lamp 76 also lights up in the arbitrarily distant room where the person controlling the observer is staying, whereby the person controlling the observer is aware of the activity of the observer

The plug switch 35 is used to determine the time intervals at which the observer has to carry out a test eavesdropping by the listener 53. There are so many at the plug switch 35
EMI3.1
or L3 shows a predetermined listening time interval, the circuit of the battery 26 is closed in the clockwork 30 by the contact corresponding to the time interval via the plug 77 and the lines 41 or the line 36, the contacts 38, 39 and the lines 40 and 25, whereby the bell 34 sounds. In response to this request, the observer inserts the connector 22 into the connector sleeves 7 one after the other and at the same time lifts the receiver 53 to eavesdrop.
When the plug 22 is inserted into the sleeves 7, the circuit of the time marking magnets 28 is closed for a moment by the contacts 24 and 5 and then the microphone circuit 1 is constantly closed by contact 28. Now the striking arm 32 signals the insertion of the connector into the individual sleeves on the roller 31, but the contact between the contacts 38, 39 is interrupted by lifting the connector 22 or the weight 37 and thus also the circuit of the bell 34.
