Device for regulating the voltage of single-phase multi-phase converters.
In the case of phase converters, which are used to convert single-phase to multi-phase current, the single-phase winding connected to the network and the winding generating the multi-phase current are usually located in the stator, while the rotor has a winding that only generates the rotating field and below it
Also supplies the necessary reactive current. With such converters it is desirable that the
The voltage of the winding generating the multiphase current can be regulated within certain limits in order to be able to change the breakdown torque of the motors fed by the diesel winding in this way.
According to the invention, this object is to be achieved in that the limits of the voltage regulation of the multi-phase winding are influenced by changing the scatter of the machine.
With the scattering, the magnitude of the power flow encompassing the multiphase winding changes and thus the magnitude of the voltage induced by it in this winding.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows a piece of stator iron s with the slot 1 for the winding connected to the feeding network and the slot 2 for the multi-phase current generating winding and a piece of rotor r with the slot 3 for receiving the excitation winding.
As can be seen from the lines of force indicated schematically in the drawing, the stray field, which is indicated by three self-contained lines, only comprises the winding of slot 1, but not the coil of slot 2 and can consequently affect the winding in this coil do not work. By contrast, the winding in the slot 2 is also encompassed and influenced by the other lines of force. If the scatter changes, the number of lines of force encompassing the winding of the slot 2 also changes, so that the voltage generated by the surrounding flux in this winding is influenced, that is, its magnitude depends on the scatter.
According to the invention, a channel k is provided between the grooves 1 and 2 of the stator, in which a piece of magnetizable material, for. B. iron e, is located. With this arrangement there is a certain spread, which can be changed by inserting a piece of iron of different dimensions. So you can get different limits for the voltage regulation by inserting different iron pieces. The voltage regulation, which is dependent on the load, is carried out by the excitation machine, which supplies the excitation for the converter and which, depending on the type of converter, can be a direct current or a three-phase commutator machine that is connected to the rotor circuit of the converter.
The channel k between the two grooves 1 and 2 can also be designed as a slot which connects the two grooves 1 and 2 to one another, or it can have any shape other than that shown.
