Bauaufzug.

Construction elevator.
In the case of construction trains used for high-rise buildings, the need for simple and reliable securing of the chassis in the loading and unloading position and against cable breakage is urgent, since the platform cannot be avoided during loading or unloading and the unmanned chassis can cause serious accidents if the cable breaks.
The invention now relates to a construction hoist with a safety device which secures the platform both in the rest position during loading or unloading and in the event of the suspension cable breaking.
The essence of the invention is that the lever actuating the locking device, which is advantageously designed as a warning signal by means of appropriate labeling or the like. comes to stand in front of the platform entrance in the unlocked position in such a way that it acts as an obstacle against entering and applying larger loads, while in the locked position it releases the platform.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown in one embodiment in FIG. 1 in side view and in FIG. 2 in front view.
The vertical support parts 1 for the guide rails 2 carry two catch pockets 3 and 4, one above the other, on each floor. A horizontally displaceable bolt 7 is attached below the platform 5 of the chassis 6 and has an upward sloping surface 8. A helical spring 9 pushes the bolt 7 under the platform to the right into the open position.
A lever 1 is hinged to the front of the platform, on the shorter arm of which a wire rope is attached, which is guided over the rollers 11, 12 and 13 to the rear, bent end of the bolt. that when the lever is raised, the bolt remains in the free travel position, while when the lever is turned the cable pushes the bolt to the left, overcoming the spring force, so that its end comes to rest over the lower securing pocket 3 and secures the chassis against going down.
The lever 10 is mounted in front of the platform entrance in such a way that it acts as a mechanical obstacle. He carries a disc with a warning label (e.g. Attention! Secure!) So that it also serves as a warning signal. In the secured position, the lever comes under the platform and thus releases it.
If the unlocking is forgotten at the beginning of the journey, i.e. the lever is not moved upwards, then downward travel is not possible. In this case the elevator is raised a little. Through the interaction of the upper pocket 4 with the inclined surface 8 of the bolt, the bolt is pushed to the right and sets up the lever, which now safely remains in the warning position by rolling over the vertical position.
