Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf jene Vorrichtungen zur Herstellung der Schallkurven auf Schallplatten, bei denen die zur Aufnahme verwendete Schalldose mit einem Ausleger versehen ist, dessen freies Ende mittels einer Nadel in einer Führungsnut geführt ist, um den an der Schalldose befindlichen Aufnahmestift eine Spirale auf der herzustellenden Schallplatte beschreiben zu lassen. Es ist dabei versucht worden, die zur Wiedergabe üblichen Schalldosen auch zur Aufnahme zu benützen, jedoch zeigt sich dabei der Übelstand, dass die Schalldosen für Wiedergabezwecke ein grösseres Gewicht aufweisen und auch mit einem grösseren Druck auf die Schallplatte wirken müssen, als für Aufnahmezwecke tunlich ist.
Die Erfindung besteht nun in der Ausbildung einer für Wiedergabe bestimmten Schalldose in der Weise, dass ihr wirksames Gewicht für die Dauer ihrer Verwendung als Aufnahmeorgan entsprechend verringert werden kann, indem der mit der Führungsnadel versehene Ausleger als um die Spitze dieser Nadel schwingbarer, mit der Schalldose gelenkig verbundener Hebel ausgebildet ist, der mit einem verstellbar angeordneten Gewicht versehen ist, durch das der von der Schalldose ausgeübte Druck auf die herzustellende Schallplatte im gewünschten Sinne beeinflusst werden kann. Dabei ist der Auslegerarm zweckmässig als Ganzes an die Schalldose heranklappbar, um als zusätzliche Belastung für die Schalldose während ihrer Verwendung bei der Wiedergabe zu wirken.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform schematisch in Fig. 1 in Seitenansicht, in Fig. 2 in Draufsicht veranschaulicht.

Um die Schalldose d für Wiedergabezwecke zu beschweren, wird der Ausleger in die in Fig. 1 gestrichelt angedeutete Lage aufgeklappt, in der er von einer Klemmfeder n an der Schalldose festgehalten wird.
