Fig. 1 ist eine Seitenansicht der Abzugvorrichtung.

Extraction device for reinforcing or overlapping strips made of paper for
Manufacture of finishing of sewn paper sacks.
The invention provides a pull-off device for reinforcing or overlapping strips which are used in the manufacture of single-walled or multi-walled bags made of paper and which are sewn along with one or both ends of the bag when the closure is made.
The pull-off device enables the strip to be withdrawn at any desired speed with a relatively low pull and is set up in this way. that when the tension is released below a certain level the coil. from which the strip is being unwound is quickly brought to a standstill.
The invention consists in that the strip is pulled off at the end of an extended arm, for example via a roll. which arm is rotatably mounted at its other end and is connected to a brake shoe which is brought into action on the support roller of the strip wound into a spool or the spool itself when the tension on the strip subsides or stops.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 is a side view of the trigger device. Figure 2 is a view of the opposite side thereof; and Figure 3 is a front view with some parts broken away.
In this exemplary embodiment, a roller 10 is rotatably mounted on a shaft 11 which is fastened to a stand 12. attached to the machine. which processes the strips.
The roll consists of a cylindrical central part 13 around which the strips 14 are wound

ffstkiemmt. At the outer end of the arm 22 there is mounted a roller 24 over which the strip 1-1 is drawn. A mainspring. 25 is attached at one end to the pin 26 on the stand 12 and at the other end to the pin 27 on the shaft 19.
The strip is pulled from the roller 24 approximately at right angles to the normal position of the arm 22 ah. The arm 22 first gives way to a pull on the strip 14 until the brake shoe 21 is lifted. The length of the arm 22 in relation to the distance between the pin 2'7 and the pivot 20 is chosen so that a slight pull on the strip is sufficient to overcome the tension of the spring 25 and to release the brake shoe 21 from the flange 18, so that free rotation of the roller in its ball bearings 15 and 16 is possible.

to stretch and thus initially prevents the strip from falling asleep.
But if the reel continues to unwind the reinforcement strip faster than necessary. then the strip becomes so slack that the spring 25 can again place the brake shoe 21 on the flange 18 and brakes the roller for so long. until the train on the strip again like this
EMI1.3
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The. Spring 25 is. adjusted so that it already brings the brake shoe to the flange when the arm 22 is still a little bent. so there is still a slight pull on the strip. In FIG. 1, the arm 22 is shown approximately in the position in which it is when the spring 25 is about to bring the brake into contact with the flange 18. From this it can be seen that even then the strip is prevented from becoming slack. if the force of the rotating roller cannot be overcome immediately by braking and the roller therefore still covers a short braking distance. until it comes to a standstill.
In this case the arm will be. 3. Continue to stretch 3 straight and therefore keep the tape taut even if a piece of strip too much was unwound while the braked roller was running out.
EMI2.1
Deduction of the strip is offset by the flexibility of the arm 22. while larger fluctuations are taken into account by engagement of the brake 21. If the trigger suddenly stops, the brake is applied quickly so that the strip can only slacken to a small extent, which is eliminated by the fact that the arm 22 stretches more or less straight.
These advantages are achieved even when the coil. which is wound from the strip, is relatively heavy and therefore has a considerable kinetic energy. which can easily overcome the low friction in the ball bearings.
In the embodiment shown, the brake shoe 21 is arranged on that side of the pin 20 to which the flange 18 moves as long as the strip is pulled off. Therefore, if the strip becomes loose, the friction of the brake shoe on the flange will act to increase the brake pressure. This pressure becomes all the higher. the closer the brake shoe approaches the connecting line between the pin 20 and the axle 11. This is of particular advantage if a sudden stop of the roll is desired. In some circumstances it may at least be desirable to arrange the brake shoe in this way. that such an automatically increasing braking effect is avoided; but usually the embodiment shown is the simplest and most effective.
