VorrichtungzurHerstellungunterschnittenerWalzprofile.
Fig. 2 zeigt dieselbe Vorrichtung in Draufsicht.

Device for the production of undercut rolled profiles.
Undercut profile parts can only be produced in the roller with great difficulty, and in addition, great inaccuracies usually occur. As a result, one has already gone over to making the folding of such profile parts outside the roller by guides. However, these guides are often inexpedient due to the strong friction. The invention relates to an undeveloping device located outside the roller, which consists of individual smooth or profiled rollers.
In FIG. 1, the profile p with its undercut profile edges is guided against the rollers 1'1 and pressed by these rollers from the position a1 into the position a2. If the rod is pushed further forward, the edges are gripped by the rollers r., And are now pressed into the final position a3. So that the roller bar is better gripped by the rollers, the infeed box / b can be raised a little in the direction of the arrow and then lowered again as soon as the rollers have gripped the bar. Fig. 2 shows the same device in plan view.
Instead of the embodiment described above, the rollers can also be arranged in such a way that, viewed in the rolling direction, the roller axes are inclined and adjustable in two planes (FIGS. 3 and 4). In this case, the edges a1 are gradually pressed in by the rollers r up to the finished layer a3.
The number and shape of the rollers can be selected depending on the desired purpose. It is therefore also possible to use several rollers in pairs one behind the other or, instead of smooth rollers, frustoconical or profiled rollers. To further reduce the friction that occurs when the roller bar passes through the folding device, instead of a solid base under the rollers or pairs of rollers causing the folding of the profile part (s), it may be advantageous to arrange driven or freely rotating rollers or rollers that may or may not be profiled may have another form resulting from the working conditions.
