Abstract
Der erfindungsgemäße Mauerwerkstein (1) hat hantelförmige, schmale Hohlräume (2) mit kelchförmigen Verdickungen (3) an beiden Enden. Diese Hohlräume (2) sind so aneinander gereiht, dass die Verdickungen (3) jeweils aneinander stoßen, und sie werden jeweils durch hohlraumlose Innenstege (4) voneinander getrennt, wobei diese Innenstege (4) wesentlich schmäler als die ebenfalls hohlraumlosen Außenstege (5) sind. Die Anordnung der Hohlräume (2) in den erfolgt so, dass die kelchförmigen Verdickungen (3) jeweils unmittelbar dem schmalen Teil eines Hohlraums (2) der angrenzenden Reihen gegenüber liegen, sodass am Ende einer jeden Reihe jeweils ein Hohlraum (2) nur halb ausgeprägt ist. Die Außenstege (5) selbst sind dabei regelmäßig und in direkter Linie über einem halben, hantelförmigen Hohlraum angeordnet, sodass Kerben (10) entstehen.
