  Socket body for electrical purposes.

The present invention has the purpose of providing an easily assembled, safe and inexpensive socket body for electrical connections. which can be used for various types of electrical sockets and connecting sleeves, etc.

For this purpose, a spiral spring is mounted on the highly conductive material in the grooves of an insulating body either inside or outside in such a way that one or both ends of the spiral spring snap into recesses in the insulating body and the
 EMI1.1
the turns that are not stored in the insulation body serve as a resilient pressure contact for the second line pole.

In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments are shown and Fig. 1 shows a simple socket body in cross section, Fig. 2 shows one in connection with a momentary switch and incandescent lamp.

In Fig. 1, a represents the body made of insulation material in which spiral grooves are recessed. The resilient spiral spring b, which is made of conductive material, is screwed into these grooves and its bent ends c snap into the recess in the insulation body a, so that the spiral b is fixed. In addition to the conductor, the spiral also forms the thread for every normal connection sleeve.

Fig. 2 shows an incandescent lamp socket using the spiral thread socket and
