Process for generating high voltage steam.
EMI1.1

is now either brought directly into a water container 4 arranged outside the furnace or, as in the embodiment shown in the drawing, fed through a line 9 to the high pressure stages of the pump 2, brought there to the voltage of the desired high pressure steam and through a line 10 the Container 4 fed. From this, steam of the desired high voltage is withdrawn through a line 11 and fed either directly to the point of consumption or to a second superheater 12 located in the boiler 1.
The mixing device. 3 preferably consists of a Venturi tube into which the steam line 8 opens at a point at which the water pressure of the pressurized water entering through the line 7 is somewhat lower than the voltage of the superheated low-pressure steam.
According to one embodiment of the method, the pressurized water to be mixed with the superheated medium-pressure steam is brought to a tension of approximately 25 atm. brought and the mixing ratio selected such that the mixture formed in the venturi 3 has a heat content of

content of 669 cal. Ilcg, which corresponds to the heat content of saturated steam at 25 atm. corresponds. In the specified exemplary embodiment of the invention, the 25 atm. Voltage from the feed pump 2 withdrawn amount of water of 1000 kg in a (not shown) preheater to 139 C.
In the embodiment described, saturated steam of 50 atm is obtained from the container 4. Voltage that is brought to the desired degree of superheating in the superheater 12.
Depending on the voltage at which the isothermal change of state following the mixture takes place, however, it can also be immediate, i.e. H. superheated high-voltage steam can be generated without superheater 12.
Desired from the superheated low pressure steam and the pressure water of 25 atm. Tension Steam of tension lower than 25 Atm. are generated, then one can go directly from the mixing device 3 to the point of consumption, so that the storage container 4 can be dispensed with.
EMI2.2
Another exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below, in which the superheated medium or low pressure steam is combined with pressurized water of over 225 atm. Voltage is mixed and the mixing ratio is selected such that the superheated pressurized water of supercritical pressure has the heat content of the high-pressure steam to be generated and is converted into steam of the desired voltage by reducing the pressure.
EMI2.3
corresponding to the heat content of the saturated steam of 70 atm. With regard to the supercritical pressure, there is no risk of steam formation in the Venturi tube, and in this embodiment, Bernoulli's law can be expected to apply.
The mixture is then no longer returned to the pump 2, but in the container 4 in saturated steam of 70 atm. transformed and then fed directly to the superheater.
The essence of the second embodiment cited here is thus that the mixing takes place at a pressure at which the formation of steam in the Venturi tube is avoided as far as possible.
The pressure upstream of the Venturi tube will advantageously be selected so that, taking into account the unavoidable pressure drop in the mixing device, the pressure downstream of the Venturi tube is still just above the critical pressure.
The heat content of the superheated pressurized water can also be selected in such a way that after the pressure has been released to the voltage of the desired maximum voltage steam in the superheating area, the steam can be fed directly into the engine and the arrangement of a special superheater is saved.
In order to achieve the required mixing ratio between the primary superheated steam and the pressurized water of the desired voltage regardless of the fluctuations in the load on the boiler, according to the invention, the number of revolutions of the centrifugal feed pump 2 is influenced by the water level of the low-pressure boiler 1, e.g. B. by means of a water level regulator of known type.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The invention provides the advantage that systems for generating high-voltage steam with a medium or low-pressure boiler of the usual type will suffice. Finally, it should be mentioned as a particular advantage that if the permissible operating voltage of an existing steam generation system is reduced as a result of any damage, only a high-pressure pump is required
