Pump with a piston moved by an eccentric.
The subject of the invention is a pump with an eccentric piston which, as a result of its connection with a partition dividing the working chamber of the pump into suction and pressure chamber and guided in a rotatable slide controlling the outlet, rolls slidingly on the inner wall of the housing. The pump differs from the known pumps of this type
EMI1.1
is inclined or curved, or both inclined and curved.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 in two exemplary embodiments.
The pump consists of the pump housing 1 with the cylindrical working space 2, the eccentric or the crankshaft 3, the annular piston 4 rotatably seated on the eccentric or the crankshaft
EMI1.2
Guide piece 8, which is designed at the same time as a slide for the outlet 7 and in which the partition 5 is slidably guided.
The partition wall 5 is curved, u. between the curvature in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 with its convex surface and in the embodiment according to FIG. 2 with its concave surface facing the outlet 7.
Due to the special design of the partition, the slide diagram, i.e. H. influences the opening time of the slide. In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the slide diagram A, B, C is obtained, and in the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the slide diagram D, E, f is obtained. In the first case, the outlet is opened before the piston has reached its lower central position, whereas in the second case the outlet opens only after the piston has exceeded this central position.
As a result, the second embodiment results in a higher pre-compression, that is, a stronger compression of the conveyed material than in the first embodiment. By correspondingly curving the partition wall with respect to the piston, it is possible to achieve any desired pre-compression of the delivery means, naturally within practically permissible limits, and thereby adapt the pump to the most varied of purposes. The partition does not need to be curved; in many cases one is sufficient
EMI1.3
Piston is pulled.
The pump according to the invention, which can also be used as a prime mover, runs, as tests have shown, with an extremely high degree of efficiency and, despite its small dimensions, can be used for high pressures and conveying means of all kinds, both for liquids and for gases.
