Flexible guide for the pulling element used to move the colored or cover panes of lighting units.
In the case of high-light lighting bodies on stages, it is known that colored discs are used to achieve different colored lighting and also cover discs, and the color disc change or the moving in and out of the cover discs is carried out by means of a wire cable or the like.
However, every change in length of the pulling cable causes a shift in the color discs, so that each color disc magazine adjustment inevitably involves an unwanted adjustment of the color discs. As long as the headlight cone was fixed, the magazine position did not change and the paint train worked without complaint.
However, this determination of the light cone has major disadvantages, which consist in the immobility of the available light masses. In order not to cause any change in length of the pull cable despite the movement of the magazine box and thus no unintentional shifting of the color disk, according to the invention, a flexible intermediate member is provided between the last wire rope guide roller and the movable color disk magazine, through which the cable pull is passed, so that despite the movement of the magazine box the constant length of the pull rope is guaranteed.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, a complete lighting system with flexible wire cable guide is illustrated schematically in side view. Fig. 2 shows the color disc magazine with the flexible wire rope guide in a front view.
The pulling element runs over the rollers 10 and 9 and through the guide piece 8 and through a flexible intermediate element, for example a steel wire spiral 2, which is connected on the one hand to the guide piece 8 and on the other hand to the guide piece 3 located on the color disc magazine. The pulling element 1 then goes on through the frame 6 via the two rollers 5 and 4 to the spring 7, which is connected to the pulling element? in the signal box (not shown) attached counterweight keeps the balance.
The spiral forms a flexible connection between the guide piece 8 on the last wire rope guide roller and the guide piece 3 on the paint disc magazine. If the apparatus is now rotated at point 13 or pivoted around point 14, the flexible spiral will follow this movement without changing the length of the wire rope and point 1 'of the rope 1 will remain unchanged relative to the frame. But if a change in the rope length is brought about by pulling the wire rope 1, the spring 7 will yield to this pull and the point will experience a change in position relative to the frame.
After the relative change in position of the point 1 'is identical to an adjustment of the color disc, the color disc can be changed or a cover disc can be moved in or out by a corresponding pull. The flexible guide member can be formed by any material which enables no change in length of the pulling member 1, i. H. no significant adjustment of the color discs by the spring 7 when moving the magazine occurs.
