Hebelschalter.

Lever switch.
The subject of the invention is a lever switch in which the number of individual parts is reduced to the lowest possible level, so that the assembly of the switch is made easier and its manufacturing costs are reduced. As a result of the low overall height achieved by the switch, it can be provided with advantage in radio sets in which the greatest possible saving of space with an absolutely reliable effect is important.
The essence of the invention is that in a lever switch with two leaf spring contacts attached to the switch body, which cause the current circuit when a swivel lever is actuated, both the actuating lever and the two contact springs and the connecting terminals are attached to a single base plate that simultaneously serves as a cover plate .
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown, u. Between FIG. 1 shows a switch in a side view, partially in section, and FIG. 2 shows a front view partially in section.
A short contact spring 6 and a longer contact spring 7 are fastened to a plate 1 made of insulating material by means of power supply terminals 2 and 3, on which clamping screws 4 and 5 are provided. A cover plate 9 made of insulating material is fastened to the base plate 1 by means of screws 13, 14 and a plate 8 above this, which has a slot 15 through which the actuating lever 11 of the switch mounted on the bolt 10 can pass. It is useful to use the

In the switch position shown in Fig. 1, the interruption position, the contact spring 7 rests against an inclined surface of the actuating lever 11 and, if the lever is pivoted to the left, is pressed downward until it comes into contact with the contact spring 6.
The free end of the contact spring 7 is now appropriately bent slightly so that the entire surface of the bent tab that has been created is used to make the contact when the two contact springs 6 and 7 are touched and when the lever 11 is pivoted further into its left end position (current connection position) forms a sliding contact. In this current connection position, the contact spring 7 rests on a second inclined surface of the lever end cooperating with it and seeks to hold the actuating lever in this end position. When the circuit is opened, i. H. If the lever is pivoted to the right, the opening movement is accelerated by the spring action of the contact spring 7, so that a momentary spark-free interruption is guaranteed.
In order to protect the user from contact with live parts of the switch, a small sheet of insulating material can be arranged on the contact spring 7 so that the operating lever does not come into contact with metallic parts, but only with this insulating sheet. Instead of this, of course, the entire actuating lever or the part thereof which interacts with the contact spring 7 can also be produced from insulating material.
