   Österreichische PATENTSCHRIFT ? 10583.

VOIGT & HAEFFNER, AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT IN FRANKFURT A. M.-BOCKENHEIM.

   Elektrischer Schalter.

Fig. 2 von unten gesehen dargestellt.

Fig. 4 einen Schnitt nach Linie C-D in Fig. 3 dar.

   Austrian PATENT LETTERING? 10583.

VOIGT & HAEFFNER, Aktiengesellschaft IN FRANKFURT A. M.-BOCKENHEIM.

   Electric switch.

The present invention relates to an electrical switch which does not require a special cover. Rather, the Schlagwürfol with its contact springs is housed in a cavity of the switch base itself that opens towards the rear. The contact springs, which are formed from a well-conducting and a second well-resilient sheet metal, are embedded in the base on the one hand and attached to the clamp contacts on the other hand, in accordance with the special design of the base.

The new switch is in Fig. 1 of the accompanying drawing from above and in
Fig. 2 shown seen from below.

Fig. 3 shows a section along line J-B in Figs
Fig. 4 shows a section along line C-D in Fig. 3.

The sock made of porcelain or other insulating material! <? has a cavity opening towards the rear, so that in cross section (Fig. 3)
 EMI1.1
the shaft d carrying the handle e rotates. Inside the cavity in the base, it carries the die made of the insulating material and a split pin (/ with liner / h. The shaft is thus held on the one hand by the sleeve h and on the other hand by the split pin.

The connection between the shaft and the die is made by a small. formed in the shaft inserted pin i, which engages in a wider incision of the impact cube. As a result, the shaft is able to rotate freely to a certain extent, during which the impact cube is not taken along.

Two opposite sides of the die have metallic, conductively connected assignments k.

The contact springs l are formed by an inner sheet made of highly resilient metal. In order to prevent the two sheets from shifting relative to one another, ears m are located on the inner sheet metal, which are bent over to the side and thus hold the second sheet metal. The springs are embedded on the one hand in the base a, while on the other hand

used himself. The clamping screws o are tightened from the rear of the switch.

Two holes p are provided for fastening the switch to the wall. The
 EMI1.3
metallic parts which are visible and accessible from the outside with the fully assembled switch.
