Change gears, especially for the feed rollers of woodworking machines and. like
Of the known change gears running in a housing in an oil bath for the feed rollers of woodworking machines u. dgL, the subject matter of the invention differs in that the housing is pivotably arranged on the machine frame and serves as a carrier and control element for the change gear for the feed rollers, known per se and driven by the tool shaft. This training has created a design that can be used in many ways.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in several embodiments u. 1, 2 and 3 schematically show different exemplary embodiments in longitudinal section, while FIG. 4 is a cross section along the line A-B of FIG.
The housing b can be rotated about the output shaft a by means of the saddle c. The housing b is used in a known manner as an oil bath for the transmission. The worm d arranged on the shaft a is in constant engagement with the worm wheel 1 seated on the shaft e. The shaft e runs in bearings g of the housing b.
The housing b can now be pivoted to the right or left and in the respective position by a
EMI1.1
different speeds are transmitted to the worm gears l or m. The latter sit on the axes n and o intended for advancing the workpiece. If the housing b is pivoted to the left, the worm i engages with the worm wheel l and thus rotates the shaft n.
If, on the other hand, it is pivoted to the right, the worm k comes into engagement with the worm wheel m.
The axis o is thus put into action.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, only one worm k is arranged on the shaft e.
In this case, the housing b is only pivoted to the right for the purpose of rotating the feed roller m.
According to FIG. 3, the end of the vertical shaft e protrudes from the housing b and carries a gear wheel p, which can be brought into engagement with gear wheels p and r to bring about a different direction of rotation and speed depending on the pivoting direction of the housing b. The device can also be used as a touring crank device for a synchronous motor, as well as for separators.
