 EMI1.1
masse können beispielsweise folgende sein :
80 Gewichtsteile Seifenpflaster, 5 Gewichtsteile Spermazet,
5 Gewichtsteile weisses Wachs, 5 Gewichtsteile Kolophonium,
5 Gewichtsteile Terpentinharz, 3 Gewichtsteile Kampfer,

Process for the manufacture of a remedy for colds.

It is well known that the runny nose is caused by inflammation of the nasal mucous membranes and the mucous membranes that run over the ethmoid and those located in the frontal sinus.

The remedies previously used to cure a runny nose were usually introduced into the nostrils and had either irritated or dried out those parts of the nasal mucous membranes on which the remedy came into direct action. In many cases, the runny nose had spread to parts of the diseased mucous membranes that were not influenced by these known remedies and often increased the symptoms.

In general, coated plasters are also known which are adapted to the shape of the body parts to be treated with the plaster.

The present invention is now located in providing a carrier for a remedy against colds, which according to the invention consists of a coated plaster, which carries the active components and is shaped into the nose and frontal sinus. Because the plaster covers the frontal sinus and the nose, even, rapid healing of the mucous membranes inflamed by the cold is achieved, with the healing effect of the active ingredients being supported by the heat seal formed.

In the drawing, an example embodiment of the cold patch is illustrated in use in the diagram.

The upper flap 1. of the coated plaster covers the frontal sinus, while the web 2 completely covers the nasal bone and the lower flap 3 completely covers the nostrils.
 EMI1.1
 dimensions can be, for example:
80 parts by weight of soap plaster, 5 parts by weight of spermacetus,
5 parts by weight of white wax, 5 parts by weight of rosin,
5 parts by weight of rosin, 3 parts by weight of camphor,
5 parts by weight of zinc oxide, 1 part by weight of eucalyptus oil and V; s weight of Gaultheria oil.

The plaster is expediently only applied overnight.
