  Schalltrichter für   Sprechmaschinen.   



   Man hat. bereits vorgeschlagen, Schalltrichter für   Sprechmaschinen   aus Gussmaterial, z. B. Metall, Zement usw., herzustellen. Ferner hat man zur Anfertigung von Schalltrichtern plastische Massen benutzt, die im wesentlichen aus Holzpulver, Stärke und Kolophonium zusammengemischt und alsdann geröstet werden. Schliesslich hat man auch noch vorgeschlagen, Schalltrichter aus Ton, Metall, Glas, Porzellan, Vulkanit,   ZeJ1uIOld,   Holzfaser,   Papiermache   usw. herzustellen. 



   Die Erfindung bezweckt, einen Schalltrichter zu schaffen, der bei billigen Herstellungskosten einem Schalltrichter aus Holz gleichwertig ist. Dies wird gemäss der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, dass der Schalltrichter aus Steinholzmasse hergestellt wird. Diese besteht aus   Sägespänen   oder Holzmehl, welches mit Magnesiazement, d. h. mit gebranntem Magnesit und einer Lösung von Chlormagnesium, zu einem Brei verrührt wird, den man in die gewünschte Form bringt und alsdann trocknen lässt. 



   Der von dem aus Steinholzmasse bestehenden Trichter gebildete Ton ist offener und stärker als der von einem gleich grossen und gleich geformten Holztrichter gebildete Ton. Ferner ist ein Steinholztrichter mit wesentlich geringeren Kosten herzustellen als ein Holztrichter, da das verwendete Material wohlfeiler ist als altes trockenes Holz und auch die Herstellung des Trichters viel weniger Zeit beansprucht als die Herstellung eines Holztrichters. 



   Bei der Herstellung des Trichters geht man in der Weise vor, dass man z. B. die zu einem Brei in üblicher Weise angerührt Steinholzmasse entweder auf einen Kern aufstreicht oder in eine aus Mantel und Kern bestehende Trichterform einstampft oder einpresst.

   The aim of the invention is to create a horn which is equivalent to a wooden horn at low manufacturing costs. This is achieved according to the invention in that the bell is made of stone wood mass. This consists of sawdust or wood flour, which is mixed with magnesia cement, i. H. with burnt magnesite and a solution of chlorine magnesium, is stirred into a paste, which is brought into the desired shape and then left to dry.



   The clay formed by the funnel made of stone wood mass is more open and stronger than the clay formed by a wooden funnel of the same size and shape. Furthermore, a stone wood funnel can be produced at significantly lower costs than a wooden funnel, since the material used is cheaper than old dry wood and the production of the funnel also takes much less time than the production of a wooden funnel.



   In the manufacture of the funnel one proceeds in such a way that one z. B. the mixed to a pulp in the usual way either spreads stone wood mass on a core or tampers or presses into a funnel shape consisting of shell and core.
