Abstract

Se describen materiales reactivos cementicios producidos a partir de materias primas inorgánicas abundantes globalmente. También se describen métodos para la manufactura de tales materiales reactivos cementicios y la formación de los materiales reactivos como partículas vítreas microesferoidales. También se describen aparatos, sistemas y métodos para la producción termoquímica de reactivos cementicios vítreos con morfología esferoidal. Los aparatos, sistemas y métodos utilizan una tecnología de fusión / enfriado rápido sobre la marcha de tal manera que las partículas sólidas se ponen en suspensión, son fundidas en suspensión, y entonces enfriadas rápidamente en suspensión. Los reactivos cementicios se pueden utilizar en hormigón para reducir sustancialmente las emisiones de CO₂ asociadas a la producción de cemento.
