Abstract
La presente divulgación generalmente se refiere a métodos para producir varios embriones a partir de uno o más de un embrión donante que comprende células embrionarias que son equivalentes en desarrollo a las células embrionarias de un embrión de 16 células o una mórula precompactada. Más en particular, el método de la divulgación comprende descomprimir dichos embriones donantes y expandir uno o más de un agregado de blastómeros obtenidos de los embriones donantes para producir varios blastocistos a partir de los embriones donantes. Reivindicación 1: Un método para multiplicar un embrión donante, dicho método comprende: (I) obtener un embrión donante caracterizado porque comprende una o más de las células embrionarias que son equivalentes desde el punto de vista del desarrollo a las células embrionarias de un embrión de 16 células o una mórula precompactada; (II) separar una pluralidad de las células embrionarias del embrión donante; (III) Expandir las células embrionarias in vitro en condiciones adecuadas para producir una pluralidad de conceptos del embrión donante, donde al menos una parte de las células embrionarias se expanden como uno o más de un agregado celular, cada agregado comprende 2 o más células embrionarias; y (IV) cultivar la pluralidad de conceptos en condiciones adecuadas para producir una pluralidad de blastocistos. Reivindicación 18: El método de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 17, caracterizado porque los embriones donantes son de una especie de mamífero. Reivindicación 19: El método de la reivindicación 18, caracterizado porque la especie de mamífero: (I) una especie de ganado; (II) una especie de rumiante; y/o (III) una especie bovina, ovina o caprina.
