Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para instalar una unidad de sensor para un sistema de monitoreo de seguridad que comprende los pasos de seleccionar, dependiendo de un área de detección deseada y/o rango de detección de la unidad de sensor (10), una cubierta intercambiable (12) de una pluralidad de diferentes cubiertas intercambiables (12), en el que las diferentes cubiertas intercambiables (12) están adaptadas para restringir de manera diferente el campo de visión de un detector de movimiento (14) de la unidad de sensor (10); y conectar la cubierta intercambiable seleccionada (12) a la unidad de sensor (10). También se proporciona un juego de piezas correspondiente que incluye un conjunto de unidad de sensor, que comprende una unidad de sensor (10) con medios de captura de imágenes (18) configurados para capturar una imagen y/o un video de un área monitoreada y un detector de movimiento (14), en particular, un sensor de infrarrojos pasivos, PIR, configurado para detectar movimiento en un área de detección y para proporcionar, dependiendo de la detección, una señal para activar los medios de captura de imágenes (18); y una pluralidad de cubiertas intercambiables (12), cada una configurada para ser conectada a la unidad de sensor (10), en el que diferentes cubiertas intercambiables (12) están configuradas para cubrir diferentes partes de una lente o matriz de lentes del detector de movimiento (14) cuando están conectadas a la unidad de sensor (16).
