Abstract
Un método para hacer la transición de un primer conjunto de pistas de video, VT1, a un segundo conjunto de pistas de video, VT2, cuando se representa un video multipistas, en donde cada pista de video tiene una prioridad de representación correspondiente. El método comprende recibir una instrucción para hacer la transición de un primer conjunto de primeras pistas de video VT1 a un segundo conjunto de segundas pistas de video VT2, obtener las pistas de video VT2 y, si las pistas de video VT2 son diferentes a las pistas de video VT1, aplicar una función decreciente a la prioridad de representación de una o más de las pistas de video en el primer conjunto de pistas de video VT1 y/o una función creciente a la prioridad de representación de una o más pistas de video en el segundo conjunto de pistas de video VT2. La función decreciente y la función creciente disminuyen y aumentan la prioridad de representación con el tiempo respectivamente. La prioridad de representación se usa en la determinación de la ponderación de una pista de video y/o elementos de una pista de video usada para representar un video multipistas.
