Abstract

Los métodos para localizar las interfaces de fluidos en un pozo entubado incluyen la generación de vibraciones en la tubería de revestimiento, formando así oscilaciones en los fluidos del pozo y la tubería de revestimiento. Las oscilaciones son detectadas por un detector de vibraciones. Las oscilaciones se registran mediante un sistema de adquisición de datos. Se lleva a cabo el procesamiento matemático de las oscilaciones por análisis del cepstrum con el fin de determinar las profundidades de las interfaces entre los fluidos en el espacio anular. Los métodos también pueden emplearse para determinar el momento en el que una lechada de cemento comienza a fraguar y endurecerse. Los métodos se pueden llevar a cabo en tiempo real.
