Abstract

Se describen membranas superhidrofóbicas y superoleofílicas que comprenden una malla metálica que comprende cobre, un recubrimiento que comprende un derivado de hidratos de carbono, en donde el derivado de hidratos de carbono se une de manera covalente o iónica a una superficie de malla metálica y métodos de preparación de las mismas. Las membranas descritas son útiles para el tratamiento de aguas residuales en la industria petrolera, en particular, para procesos de separación de petróleo / agua.
