Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un dispositivo y un método para la detección rápida (en cuestión de segundos) de virus y viriones (proteínas y ácidos nucleicos) que se encuentran en el nuevo coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), el virus de la inmunodeficiencia humana (VIH) y otros virus pandémicos. El dispositivo puede utilizarse en atención al público, hospitales, laboratorios clínicos, aeropuertos, tiendas de comestibles, hogares, y similares. El dispositivo puede utilizarse como una sola sonda para un solo uso o para uso doméstico, o el dispositivo integrado en un carrusel o un cargador de sondas múltiples para la detección rápida de múltiples muestras simultáneamente. Este carrusel facilitaría la realización de pruebas múltiples en tiempos de pandemia cuando hay que analizar un gran número de muestras en cortos períodos de tiempo.
