Abstract

Un protector para el extremo de un tubo para proteger las roscas provistas en el extremo hembra de un componente de tubo para la exploración y la producción de un pozo de hidrocarburo, dicho protector para el extremo de un tubo comprende un cuerpo principal y un sello anular flexible con borde axial, en donde el cuerpo principal está fabricado de un primer material polimérico que tiene un primer módulo elástico, y el borde del sello está fabricado de un segundo material polimérico que tiene un segundo módulo elástico que es menor que el primer módulo elástico.
