Abstract
Se divulga un proceso de reformación mejorado para producir hidrocarburos aromáticos. El proceso incluye dos reformadores dispuestos en una configuración de flujo paralelo, donde el primer reformador es un reformador convencional que comprende un catalizador selectivo para reformar hidrocarburos C₈⁺ en un reformato, y el segundo reformador comprende un catalizador selectivo para reformar hidrocarburos C₇⁻ en un reformato. En ciertas realizaciones, el primer catalizador reformador comprende un catalizador de alúmina convencional, y el segundo catalizador reformador comprende un catalizador ZSM-5.
