Abstract
Una herramienta para limpiar el extremo inferior de un pozo entubado que tiene instalada una sarta de producción. La herramienta se baja por la sarta de producción hasta que llega a una posición fija. En esa posición, una sección inferior de la herramienta se proyecta a través de una abertura en la base de la sarta de producción y hacia dentro del pozo. La herramienta rocía fluido de alta presión desde sus orificios de fluido hacia porciones cercanas del pozo. Para extraer la herramienta de la sarta de producción, se baja una bola deformable dentro de un empalme de embudo instalado dentro de la herramienta. Se aplica presión de fluido a la bola hasta que la bola es extruida a través del empalme de embudo y capturada dentro de una jaula inmediatamente debajo del empalme de embudo. Dentro de la jaula, la bola bloquea el flujo ascendente del fluido subterráneo hacia dentro del embudo y a través de la herramienta. Sin fluido que pasa a través de la herramienta, el flujo de fluido ascendente transporta la herramienta hasta la superficie.
