Abstract

En la presente descripción se proporciona la metodología y composición para el uso de cualquier cáscara o cascarilla de nuez (como puede ser almendra, nuez de castilla o pistache), o legumbre (cacahuate) con o sin otros componentes como son la turba, la perlita o la fibra para el cultivo de plantas, ya sea que se utilicen en su forma entera o con algún tipo de reducción como haber sido cortada o molida y si esta biodegradada o no. Reivindicación 1: Un medio de cultivo para plantas que incluye cáscaras de almendra enteras y sin moler. Reivindicación 11: Una composición sin suelo que comprende cáscaras completas y sin moler seleccionadas de un grupo consistente en almendras, nueces de castilla, pistaches, pecanas y/o cacahuates. Reivindicación 14: Un método para la producción de una planta o fruta que comprende: a) obtener un medio de sustrato que comprende cáscaras de almendra enteras y sin moler, b) plantar en dicho medio; y c) cultivar dicha planta hasta alcanzar la madurez.
