Abstract
La presente divulgación proporciona plantas de maíz modificadas, transgénicas o con genoma editado / mutado que son semi-enanas y tienen uno o más rasgos de mazorca mejorados respecto de una planta de control, tal como mayor diámetro de mazorca, peso fresco de mazorca y peso de grano único, y mayor rendimiento. Las plantas de maíz modificadas, transgénicas o con genoma editado / mutado comprenden un transgén que codifica uno o más polipéptidos de biosíntesis del cofactor de molibdeno (Moco) y tienen una expresión reducida de uno o más genes de GA20 o GA3 oxidasa.
