Abstract

Ésta comprende un dispositivo y un método para estimar la elasticidad de sólidos elásticos blandos a partir de mediciones de ondas superficiales. El método es no destructivo, confiable y repetible. El dispositivo es de bajo costo y portátil. Se basa en la propagación de ondas de corte de audio frecuencia en sólidos elásticos blandos. Dentro de este rango de frecuencia, la longitud de onda de corte es del orden del centímetro. Por lo tanto, los datos experimentales generalmente se recopilan en el campo cercano de la fuente. Como consecuencia, se desarrolló un algoritmo de inversión teniendo en cuenta los efectos de campo cercano para su uso con el dispositivo. Las aplicaciones de ejemplo incluyen muestras de carne vacuna, materiales de simulación de tejido blando y músculo esquelético in vivo de voluntarios sanos.
