Abstract
Un aparato para generar una descripción mejorada de campo de sonido comprende: un generador de campo de sonido (100) para generar por lo menos dos descripciones de capas de campo de sonido que indican campos de sonido con respecto a por lo menos una ubicación de referencia; y un generador de metadatos (110) para generar metadatos relacionados con la información espacial de los campos de sonido, donde las descripciones de campo de sonido y los metadatos constituyen la descripción mejorada del campo de sonido. Los metadatos pueden ser una información geométrica para cada capa, tal como una distancia representativa a la ubicación de referencia.
