Abstract
Un método realizado por un dispositivo de comunicación (120) para mejorar la comunicación inalámbrica con un nodo de red (110) de una red de comunicación inalámbrica (100). El dispositivo de comunicación (120) ha recibido, desde el nodo de red, un primer valor de avance de temporización, TA, en un primer punto de tiempo cuando está en estado activo, y el dispositivo de comunicación ha conmutado a partir de entonces a estado inactivo. El método comprende conmutar de estado inactivo a activo, después de obtener una indicación de transferencia de datos, determinar si el primer valor de TA es todavía válido, emplear el primer valor de TA para enviar datos al nodo de red cuando se determina que el primer valor de TA es válido, y emplear un valor de TA actualizado para enviar datos al nodo de red cuando se determina que el primer valor de TA no es válido. Por la determinación de que el primer valor de TA todavía es válido y, en tales casos, reutilización del primer valor de TA, pueden ahorrarse los recursos de comunicación que de lo contrario se habrían utilizado para la actualización del valor de TA.
