Abstract

Sistemas y métodos para identificar y rastrear un vehículo a medida que el vehículo recorre una instalación. Un sistema incluye un punto de acceso inicial configurado para capturar una imagen de un vehículo y comparar la imagen con las imágenes en un depósito de imágenes del vehículo para identificar el vehículo, donde un registro de computadora se actualiza para indicar que el vehículo identificado está presente en la instalación. Uno o más puntos de acceso posteriores se configuran para rastrear el vehículo a través de la instalación, donde los puntos de acceso posteriores se configuran para capturar una imagen de seguimiento del vehículo y comparar la imagen de seguimiento del vehículo con las imágenes del depósito de imágenes del vehículo asociadas con los vehículos que están actualmente identificados como presentes en la instalación.
