Abstract

Se proporcionan métodos para la detección de la acidificación o la probabilidad de acidificación en un fluido de proceso de petróleo y gas que implica el análisis de una muestra acuosa obtenida de un fluido de proceso de petróleo y gas respecto de la presencia de bacterias de al menos dos géneros bacterianos diferentes, en donde los géneros se seleccionan del Pelobacter, Flexistipes, Marinobacterium, Geoalcalibacter y Halanaerobium. La presencia de bacterias de dos o más de dichos géneros indica la probabilidad de mayor producción de sulfuro en el fluido. Se proporcionan otros métodos y composiciones reactivas relacionadas para realizar los métodos. Reivindicación 10: Un método de control del potencial para acidificación en un pozo de gas de esquisto que comprende: poner en contacto a una muestra de dicho pozo con una composición reactiva que puede detectar la presencia de bacterias de al menos dos géneros diferentes, en donde los géneros se seleccionan de Pelobacter, Flexistipes, Marinobacterium, Geoalcalibacter y Halanaerobium; detectar o medir una concentración significativa de bacterias de al menos dos de dichos géneros, en donde la presencia de bacterias de dos o más de dichos géneros indica la probabilidad de acidificación de dichos pozos. Reivindicación 13: Un método para la detección de acidificación o la probabilidad de acidificación en un fluido de proceso de petróleo y gas que comprende: la preparación de una muestra acuosa obtenida de un fluido de proceso de petróleo y gas que comprende bacteria de múltiples géneros; y el análisis de la muestra respecto de la presencia de bacteria del género Flexistipes; en donde la presencia de bacterias del género Flexistipes es predictiva de producción incrementada o mayor de sulfuro en el fluido.
