Se presenta una calculadora 270 para determinar datos de corrección de fase 295 para una señal de audio 55. La calculadora comprende un determinador de variaciones 275 para determinar una variación de una fase de la señal de audio 55 en un primero y en un segundo modo de variación, un comparador de variaciones 280 para comparar una primera variación 290a que se determina utilizando el primer modo de variación y una segunda variación 290b que se determina utilizando el segundo modo de variación y una calculadora de datos de corrección 285 para calcular los datos de corrección de fase 295 de acuerdo con el primer modo de variación o el segundo modo de variación sobre la base del resultado de la comparación.
