Abstract
Un método o sistema de predicción de la tendencia direccional que proporciona: determinar parámetros geométricos de un ensamblaje de fondo de pozo que tiene al menos un estabilizador, una barrena y un mecanismo de excentricidad que proporciona un intervalo de configuraciones de excentricidad; derivar una fuerza lateral sobre la barrena a través del intervalo de configuraciones de excentricidad; y en función al menos en parte de la fuerza lateral sobre la barrena, determinar un ángulo de camino o severidad de cambio angular (DLS) a través de intervalo de configuraciones de excentricidad. El intervalo de DLS resultante se puede comparar con los requisitos para una trayectoria del agujero deseada y si es adecuado, se pueden utilizar los parámetros para configurar el ensamblaje de fondo del pozo y la dependencia de DLS se puede expresar en una forma funcional o tubular para controlar la orientación.
