Abstract

La presente trata de un método para transmitir contenido audiovisual y/o datos para dispositivos-del-usuario sin los recursos para sintonía de TV digital, el cual consiste en el encapsulación de tales contenidos dentro de MPEG2-private-sections y subsiguiente multiplexación y transmisión a través de una señal de TV digital. El método utiliza una aplicación-interactiva, transmitida dentro de la señal de TV digital que, cuando ejecutada en el receptor-de-TV-digital, extrae los MPEG2-private-sections con los contenidos audiovisuales y/o datos de la señal de TV digital y utilizando una conexión de red local (LAN), retransmite esos contenidos audiovisuales y/o datos para otros dispositivos-del-usuario que están conectados en la misma red local (LAN) que el receptor-de-TV-digital está conectado. También, se describe un dispositivo que permite la transmisión de contenido audiovisual y/o datos encapsulados dentro de la MPEG2-private-section.
