Abstract
Pueden formarse composiciones aglutinantes refractarias resistentes a la corrosión, con una fuente de ión de calcio, puzolana de aluminosilicato refractario de alta alúmina y agua. Cualesquiera uno o más de dichos componentes pueden ser individualmente no cementicios. Ejemplos de puzolana de aluminosilicato refractario de alta alúmina incluyen ladrillo refractario triturado; chamota de ladrillo refractario; y mezclas de silicato y cualesquiera uno o más de corindón, cerámica de alta alúmina y bauxita; mortero refractario; arcilla refractaria; mullita; mullita fundida; y sus combinaciones, entre otros. Una composición aglutinante puede mezclarse con suficiente cantidad de agua para formar una suspensión, donde dicha suspensión puede introducirse en una formación subterránea (por ejemplo, por medio de un pozo que penetra la formación subterránea). Una pluralidad de los componentes no cementicios pueden reaccionar en presencia de agua cuando se exponen a condiciones adecuadas, de modo de permitir el establecimiento de la composición aglutinante. Dichas composiciones, una vez establecidas, pueden exhibir mejorada corrosión y/o resistencia al calor, en comparación con otras composiciones aglutinantes.
