Abstract
La presente proporciona un concepto para la compresión combinada de rango dinámico y la prevención guiada de recortes para dispositivos de audio. Un decodificador de audio para decodificar una corriente de bits de audio y una corriente de bits de metadatos relacionada con la corriente de bits de audio de acuerdo con el concepto comprende una cadena de procesamiento de audio configurada para recibir una señal de audio decodificada derivada de la corriente de bits de audio y para ajustar las características de la señal de audio a fin de producir una señal de salida de audio, la cadena de ajuste de audio comprende una pluralidad de etapas de ajuste que incluyen una etapa de control de rango dinámico para ajustar el rango dinámico de la señal de salida de audio y una etapa de prevención guiada de recortes para prevenir los recortes en la señal de salida de audio; y un decodificador de metadatos configurado para recibir la corriente de bits de metadatos y para extraer secuencias de ganancia de control de rango dinámico y secuencias de ganancia de prevención guiada de recortes de la corriente de bits de metadatos, al menos una parte de las secuencias de ganancia de control de rango dinámico se proporciona a la etapa de control de rango dinámico, y al menos una parte de las secuencias de ganancia de prevención guiada de recortes se proporciona a la etapa de prevención guiada de recortes.
