Abstract

In one embodiment, the oily solids are selected from drilling muds; oil sediments lining the inside of the pipes; deposit sediments in tanks, containers and separators of crude oil; surface coatings on equipment; low quality oil mix of upstream operations; oily solids of heavy oil processing operations; abrasives; solids recovered from mercury removal processes from hydrocarbon materials; adjuvant filtering materials for mercury removal operations; cleaning materials for spills and mixtures of these.
