Abstract
La adición de al menos un promotor seleccionado del grupo que consiste en sales de tiosulfato, sales de sulfito, sales de bisulfito, sales de eritorbato, sales de isoascorbato, y sus combinaciones a un fluido de tratamiento acuoso que contiene una polímero viscosificante y un peróxido ayuda a promover la actividad del peróxido como un agente de ruptura, de este modo facilita una reducción de la viscosidad del fluido de tratamiento acuoso a temperaturas más bajas que las que son posibles en ausencia del promotor. El fluido de tratamiento acuoso sometido al promotor es útil como fluido de fractura para fracturar la formación subterránea en la recuperación de petróleo y gas.
