Abstract
Método de control de Conogethes punctiferalis, que comprende el contacto de Conogethes punctiferalis con la proteína Cry1A. La presente permite controlar Conogethes punctiferalis porque permite que las plantas produzcan la proteína Cry1A in vivo, que es letal para Conogethes punctiferalis. En comparación con los métodos actuales de control agronómico y químico, el método de la presente permite controlar Conogethes punctiferalis durante todo el período de crecimiento de las plantas y proporcionar una protección completa a las plantas. Adicionalmente, el método es estable, completo, simple, conveniente, económico, no contaminante y no deja residuos. Reivindicación 11: El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 3 - 10, caracterizado porque la planta deriva de maíz, sorgo, mijo, girasol, ricino, jengibre, algodón, durazno, caqui, nuez, castaña, higo o pino.
