Abstract
Un método para secar polisacárido nanofibrilado, con el propósito de obtener un producto de polisacárido nanofibrilado sustancialmente seco, que comprende los siguientes pasos: (i) proveer una suspensión acuosa de polisacárido nanofibrilado; (ii) incrementar el contenido de sólidos de dicha suspensión, formando así una suspensión de celulosa microfibrilada de alto contenido de sólidos; y (iii) secar dicha suspensión de celulosa microfibrilada de alto contenido de sólidos, mediante una operación simultánea de calentamiento y mezcla.A method for drying nanofibrillated polysaccharide, in order to obtain a substantially dry nanofibrillated polysaccharide product, comprising the following steps: (i) providing an aqueous suspension of nanofibrillated polysaccharide; (ii) increase the solids content of said suspension, thus forming a suspension of high solids microfibrillated cellulose; and (iii) drying said high solids microfibrillated cellulose suspension, by means of a simultaneous heating and mixing operation.
