Abstract
Se provee un sistema de sensor de caudal másico (200). El sistema de sensor de caudal másico (200) incluye un medidor de densidad (202) que incluye un montaje de sensor (204a) y un medidor de densidad electrónico (204b) configurado para generar una medición de densidad de un fluido del proceso. El sistema de sensor de caudal másico (200) además incluye un medidor de caudal volumétrico (203) que incluye un montaje de sensor (205a) y un medidor volumétrico electrónico (205b) configurado para generar un caudal volumétrico del fluido del proceso en comunicación eléctrica con el medidor de densidad electrónico (204b). Un sistema de procesamiento remoto (207) se encuentra en comunicación eléctrica con sólo uno del medidor de densidad electrónico (204b) o el medidor volumétrico electrónico (205b). El sistema de procesamiento remoto (207) se configura para recibir una medición de caudal másico del fluido del proceso generado por el medidor de densidad electrónico (204b) o el medidor volumétrico electrónico (205b) basado en la medición de densidad y el caudal volumétrico generados.
