Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Un ácido nucleico que comprende al menos un ácido nucleico seleccionado de: (a) un ácido nucleico que comprende al menos una de las 1 a 19 Fases de Lectura Abierta (ORF) como se comprende en la SEC ID Nº 2 que codifica las proteínas de las SEC ID Nº 4 a 22 o una variante o un fragmento del mismo en el que la variante o el fragmento codifica una variante o un fragmento funcionalmente activo de una proteína de las SEC ID Nº 4 a 22, (b) un ácido nucleico que codifica al menos una de las proteínas de las SEC ID Nº 4 a 22 o una variante o un fragmento funcionalmente activo del mismo, (c) un ácido nucleico que codifica una proteína que tiene una identidad de secuencia de aminoácidos de al menos 70%, 80%, 90%, 95% ó 97% con una proteína o un fragmento de la misma codificada por el ácido nucleico de (a) ó (b), (d) un ácido nucleico que se hibrida en condiciones rigurosas con un ácido nucleico de (a) a (c), (e) un ácido nucleico que es complementario a un ácido nucleico de (a) a (d). Reivindicación 3: Un vector de expresión que comprende un ácido nucleico de la reivindicación 1 ó 2. Reivindicación 4: Una célula que comprende el ácido nucleico de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 ó 2 o que se transforma con el vector de expresión de acuerdo con la reivindicación 3, preferentemente la célula es la especie de Streptomyces FH6421. Reivindicación 5: Un método en el que una célula contiene un grupo génico biosintético de tomaimicina o una variante o un fragmento funcionalmente activo del mismo. Reivindicación 9: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 5 en el que la célula contiene al menos una ORF comprendida en la SEC ID Nº 1, SEC ID Nº 2 ó SEC ID Nº 3 o variantes o fragmentos funcionalmente activos de la misma y que puede producir 11-des-O-metiltomaimicina.
