Abstract

Un catalizador de hidrogenación basado en paladio sobre un soporte de óxido de silicio (SiO₂), sobre un soporte de óxido de aluminio (Al₂O₃), o sobre un soporte de aluminosilicato, en donde el catalizador comprende una cantidad de paladio entre 1,5 y 2,5% en peso con respecto al peso del catalizador y una cantidad de plata entre 0,1 y 0,5% en peso con respecto al peso del catalizador, y en donde preferentemente el catalizador además comprende oro en una cantidad de hasta 0,1% en peso con respecto al peso del catalizador. El soporte preferido en una forma de realización de la presente es un soporte de óxido de aluminio d (d-Al₂O₃). El catalizador se puede usar en múltiples tipos de hidrogenación, y preferentemente se propone el catalizador para usar en la fabricación de peróxido de hidrógeno mediante el proceso de autooxidación.A hydrogenation catalyst based on palladium on a support of silicon oxide (SiO₂), on a support of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), or on an aluminosilicate support, wherein the catalyst comprises an amount of palladium between 1.5 and 2.5% by weight with respect to the weight of the catalyst and an amount of silver between 0.1 and 0.5% by weight with respect to the weight of the catalyst, and wherein preferably the catalyst further comprises gold in an amount of up to 0 , 1% by weight with respect to the weight of the catalyst. The preferred support in an embodiment of the present is an aluminum oxide support d (d-Al₂O₃). The catalyst can be used in multiple types of hydrogenation, and preferably the catalyst is proposed for use in the manufacture of hydrogen peroxide by the autoxidation process.
