Abstract

Claim 7: An alkali metal separation and recovery apparatus comprising: a nanofiltration membrane unit for permeating and separating raw water containing an alkali metal and divalent ions using a nanofiltration membrane to obtain a permeate and a concentrate; a recovery unit to recover at least part of the alkali metal contained in the permeate; and a divalent ion elimination unit to remove at least part of the divalent ions contained in the concentrate, in which at least part of water without divalent ions obtained in the divalent ion elimination unit is recycled to the raw water.
