Abstract

Polipéptido mutado, cepas que lo comprende y métodos para detectar cationes metálicos monovalentes y divalentes, en donde el polipéptido comprende una sustitución de serina por cisteína en la posición 77 de la SEQ ID Nº 1 o SEQ ID Nº 2; y en donde dicha proteína tiene actividad de regulador transcripcional, por ejemplo GoIS o CueR. El polipéptido detecta cationes metálicos monovalentes y divalentes, por ejemplo Au, Cu, Ag, Hg, Pb, Cd, Co y Zn.
