Abstract

Se revelan métodos y aparatos para reducir los requisitos de memoria de aplicaciones de software en un sistema de control de procesos. Un aparato de ejemplo incluye un espacio de proceso primario para ejecutar una aplicación primaria para usar en un sistema de control de procesos, una interfase de usuario primaria asociada con la aplicación primaria y que se ha de representar en un visualizador, y una aplicación secundaria a ser invocada mediante la aplicación primaria. La aplicación secundaria incluye una aplicación de cliente para habilitar la interacción entre la aplicación primaria y la aplicación secundaria, y una aplicación de servidor que sirve a la aplicación de cliente para implementar al menos un componente de software para generar una interfase de usuario secundaria asociada con la aplicación secundaria. La interfase de usuario secundaria se ha de comunicar a la aplicación primaria para ser representada dentro de la interfase de usuario primaria.
