Abstract

Sistemas y métodos para reforzar una tubería. Un robot está adaptado para girar dentro de una tubería para aplicar resina y/o fibras a una superficie interna de una tubería con un patrón sustancialmente helicoidal. La aplicación de resina y/o fibras a la tubería se puede regular activamente para lograr la aplicación deseada. Se puede regular la velocidad a la que se desplaza el robot a lo largo de la tubería por cada revolución del robot. La velocidad a la que se hace avanzar a las fibras hacia la superficie interna de la tubería se puede regular de modo de aplicar las fibras sobre la superficie interna de la tubería en un estado sustancialmente no tensado.
