Abstract
El calentador de agua de paso de rápida recuperación de la presente funciona por medio de una tarjeta o controlador electrónico y se elimina la necesidad de contar con un detector de flujo de agua de tipo electromecánico. Dicho controlador electrónico gobierna la operación de cada uno de los componentes del sistema optimizando el consumo de gas combustible y minimizando la emisión de gases contaminantes ya que no cuenta con piloto y el quemador de varios cuerpos enciende únicamente al cumplirse ciertas condiciones o requisitos preestablecidos en la lógica del controlador electrónico por lo que se mantiene apagado la mayor parte del tiempo. Otros factores que contribuyen a mejorar la eficiencia del calentador de agua son: a) el diseño del depósito de agua que en su parte inferior cuenta con una cámara de agua que rodea la cámara de combustión minimizando las pérdidas térmicas en esa zona y b) el uso de un intercambiador de calor aletado que en combinación con un núcleo aprovecha la mayor parte de la energía térmica contenida en los gases de combustión. Otra característica propia de la presente es que cuenta con un dispositivo deflector de aire que impide el ingreso de las corrientes de aire por la parte superior del calentador, evitando así posibles retrocesos de flama, e incluso la extinción de la flama en el quemador de varios cuerpos.The rapid recovery water heater presently operates by means of an electronic card or controller and eliminates the need for an electromechanical water flow detector.
